Growing up in a small town in the heart of the Mississippi delta farm country, I’ve seen firsthand how today’s economy is adversely affecting the people in the community that I hold so dear to my heart.
Because of my love for the people of this community; I wanted to do everything l could to help ensure that they had the knowledge and ability to have the right financial coaching and assistance. I joined Real Financial Solutions because I saw it as a way to help people in so many different ways. Some young people may need help with going off to college and I wanted to be able to help them get more scholarships and grants, and higher SAT or ACT scores. I wanted to be able to guarantee that their FAFSA forms are filled out correctly the first time! But I also wanted to help their parents and grandparents; whether it be to advise them to get their money in better investment vehicles or preserve and protect the nest egg that they had worked so hard all of their lives to build. There just seems to never be enough time to get to all of the people who have questions, are hurting, or are just lost and don’t know where to turn.
The strong relationships I’ve built throughout my life, and becoming a part of the RFS family is making my dream a reality because my friends know my heart and with the education that I am now getting; I am able to pass on that knowledge in ways that it truly changes the trajectory of their lives. I LOVE seeing the light come on in their eyes when they learn of the possibilities that are out there that they were never taught by the failed public (and private) school systems in Mississippi. I have never wanted to be, nor do I consider myself a sales person or anything like that. I have no desire to “sell” anyone, anything. I only want to be an educator and teach people about these things that they have no idea even exist for them, because they were never taught. And if Almighty God will use me as an instrument; I am going to ensure that they get the help and have the success that they don’t even know awaits them.
